The White Hag x Cloudwater – Electricity Supply Board (6%)

This beauty of a collaboration between Irish legends The White Hag and Manchester-based brewers Cloudwater, Electric Supply Board (or, ESB), is a tribute to the ESB for lighting up the party since 1927, and this is the beer to electrify the session. It’s a classic English-style, bitter ale, burnt red and clear, with a beautiful creamy, white head. ESB has beautiful notes of caramel and toffee, as well as that expected smooth, malty finish – just the way it should be, as my old man would say!
