Duvel – 6,66 (6.6%)

2021 is hopefully the year of many postives, but one thing that is certainly a positive is the 150th anniversary of Duvel Moortgat, and perhaps more importantly, the subsequent introduction of Duvel 6,66. Good god, it just looks so dreamy! Their team set out to create a beer that was nothing short of pure temptation and we’d say they’ve probably achieved just that. The beer that is contemporary in nature, but remaining full of Belgium’s rich brewing heritage; 6 different hop varieties (notable mentions to Saaz and Styrian Golding) yet this is a mild, expressive, and deliciously drinkable beer. Just like the classic Duvel, but slightly stronger, and balanced out beautifully with extra hops and dry hopping too, an absolute Belgian delight!
